Front spring spacers on a 4.5" lift
Is there away to compress the 4.5" RC coil springs enough to get 1.5" spacers on the front WITHOUT having to take the front end apart again. I added the shackle relocation kit and now my jeep "stink bugs" with the *** in the air. I really really don't want to take the front end apart plus have to re align it afterwards.

I know that but when we were installing the lift it was a complete pain in the *** to get the new springs in there using a compressor, even with the arms off.

Thats weird. I have 3.5in coils and have removed them a few times already and installed 1in spacers on them. Using only a spring compressor, without disconecting the control arms. I know yours are 4.5 but its only an inch difference. All I did was unbolt the shocks , let the axle droop and compress the springs with the compressors.

Yeah it was really a pain. We had it jacked up and the arms off and still had to use a pry bar and a few kicks to get them in there.

shouldnt affect it as long as you keep the adjustment the same (if it is an adjustable track bar)... but after adding the spacers, you should readjust
