Front shock cheaters? Detours

Not interested in these but came across them. Does anyone have these and what's the main purpose there? Seems a bit far-fetched...

basically, instead of having to buy new shocks if you lift an extra inch or two, you could just buy these and "cheat" out of having to buy new shocks. im planning on buying these for when i go up an extra 1.5in. they look sturdy. they also have rear shock theaters as well

Yeah the back ones are like 're-locators' they say but look very similar

It's so you don't have to get longer shocks with more lift.

My front shocks are limiting my downtravel so I am tempted to buy these and add more bumpstop to get more droop.
