Default Front locker

Alright, tomorrow I have a front locker coming in the mail (auto locker). My front tires aren't exactly the same wear level. Here's the question, can I still install the locker or will it damage it? I don't really want to wait till I get new tires, but I also don't want to ruin the locker. What should I do?

How far off are the tires? Like one has 1000 more miles, or like one is 31" and one is 205/70? How long till you expect to get new rubber?

they're both 31x10.50 r15 they've both been on the same amount of time, just one has worn more then the other and I don't know why. I'm not getting new tires for probably at least a few months maybe more.

How's the alignment? Should be fine in the locker.

as far as I know the alignments good. Had it aligned a while back, but it doesn't pull anywhere and the steering wheel is straight.

You will only be using it in 4wd so not a full time thing, you should be good for a while. Is it a full case locker, if so they are a lot stronger and less a problem?

Its not a auto locker its a lsd differential then, when you use it with current worn tire sizes the clutches will slip more in 4wd.

it's a locker. Google it, the name is misleading but it is in fact a locker

I love it, practically invisible. Only con would be the price. It performs very nice on road and off.
