you're running the 38's?
I'm fairly sure that lunchboxes dont like to go bigger than 35's
since you've already got the locking hubs I'd pick a detroit personally

i'm one that thinks cheap small lockers belong in cheap small axles running cheap small tires (up to 35).

even tho i have a lock rite in my d44 rear. i had one in my d30 running 36 iroks, snapped more u-joints than i ever thought i would, so i took it out.

the rear lock rite has held up great however.

i suggested the ected e-locker just because it's relatively cheap compared to a detroit, and somewhat as strong as one.

but a d44 lock rite is only around 350 bux, so i guess it wouldn't hurt to run one on a trial basis for a season or so. and if it works, keep going.

northridge4X4.com. is the cheapest I have seen so far,I have talked with them on Auusie lockers and they run out pretty quick. I also spoke with the folks at Auusie and they said that they are in the process of getting the business back in the US and will be back up and running mid April.

I run a lock right in my stock D-30 with 33's. Turning radius sux, I have broke axle shafts in deep mud while hammering the crap out of it, but for crawling it works great. I don't have any noise issues or problems other than a heavy foot lol

What tires do you run? Are they 10.5 or 12.5

i run with alot of guys with 38's or a little bigger with lunch box lockers. They like them alot. They never break the locker itself. Its always shafts or joints. Sure i would rather have air lockers and so would everybody. But for the price im very satisfied.
