Default Front end pop

So I've got a question. I'm not quite sure if this is bad but it sure sounds like it. When I'm out wheeling and I bump a log to climb I'll hear a loud poping noise coming from the front end and it's loud!! What could this be I mean nothing is broke or breaks and runs fine on the road. Please help!!!! Thank you.

Do you have the rubber isolater on top of the coil spring? What about the little plate that holds the bottom of The coil. I've had popping from those not being there. The coil wants to move.

Your axle u joints could be popping. But that doesn't mean they break necessarily. They get slop, move around, then eventually thrown out of the ear. Inspect these joints thoroughly.

sounds like a loose/worn track bar, particularly at the frame end

I think some more info is needed here. Does it only happen when cycling the suspension or does it happen when turning? Happen with left or right wheel? When you bumped up on the log, did you have the wheels turned or were they straight? There are so many things in the front end that could wear and cause a pop. Best thing to do is figure out exactly what makes it pop and, if possible, duplicate it while someone else is sitting in the driver's seat and you're standing outside the vehicle observing all of the suspension components.

My front end was creaking for about a year with people telling me "could be this... could be that" until I finally laid my lazy but on the garage floor and had my wife move the steering wheel back and forth while I watched the front end... turns out MY issue was the track bar to axle mount - bolt was loose. Unfortunately after tightening it, it loosened up again because the hole wore to a oval shape.

Do what you can to duplicate the cause of the pop and figure out a way to safely observer the suspension - you'll figure it out, trust me.

Mine also does this "POPPING" noise, it's lifted three inches with stock tires now, and I didn't hear this popping before the lift, all 4 links in the front suspension were changed out with new pieces when I did the lift due to the bushings being worn, and I didn't think that they would be able to align the front end with out new pieces, the sound on my Jeep only occures while turning, any help with this problem on mine would also be greatley appretiated

If your arms are adjustable, tighten the jamb nuts, that will also cause popping noises, otherwise, axle ujoints
