Default front drive shaft

i was looking at getting a front drive shaft from a 2001 xj from a salvage yard. my only concern is if a stock 2001 xj ds will fit on my 1995 xj. anything helps!

If they are both autos or both manuals then yes. Manuals are shorter than autos so you can't mix the two.

If you don't have a "Full Time" 4WD option on your transfer case shifter, then you should have a 231.
