Front Detroit Locker Problem when turining in 2WD
I have a Detroit locker in my front Dana 30. It was working fine for the last year until recently. I just replaced the u joints in the front and think i may have gotten some junk into the differential when i put the axles back in that might be getting it hung up. At low speeds i try to turn left and it's getting hung up like it's engaging but i'm in 2 wheel drive so this should not happen. My wheel will try to turn but my jeep does not want to turn. This is then followed by a loud pop from the differential and then i can turn freely. Has anyone had a problem like this? Any possible fixes. I'll follow up with more info after i open the front differential and replace the inner seals.
