Default Front clip swap wiring diagram help please

Yep, did the search thing and when you mention 'swap' most all are for axles or tires. I typed in 'front end swap'=sorry. front clip swap=sorry..
Then, if it does cover the front clip, peeps just say "yep, It just swaps on.."
Well, i've got big gaps above radiator and on side of headlights.
(Just HAD TO get it. You NEVER see the same color body parts in a yard)

But this is more about WIRING..
NO ONE mentions of the wiring differences. Does one keep the orig harness and splice in the plug ends of actual lights, or keep the later harness and splice in the main feeder plug at D/S headlight???

If I'm to splice in at the main plug, Does anyone have the Plug Wiring Schematic?
This junky hanes manual doesn't show much of anything.

Thanks. E

What year is your jeep and what year is the front clip?

Sorry, I've asked so many places that i forgot to post it here.
MINE is a black '96 2dr, and I found a salvage yard BLACK '99 that I got the front clip from to swap to my 96. (got soo excited when I saw one the same color! THAT USUALLY NEVER HAPPENS!)

Well, when my son came home in his '01 with a 4.0 I popped his hood and I guess the 4.0's radiator support uses a higher 'filler' piece that I didn't grab to fill in the gap between the upper 4cyl rad support and grill assy.

Dug through a chiltons' manual that my son has and the diagram is soo small that it's hard to see the abreviations for the color codes. And for some crazy reason, they don't go up to '01 in the diagram pages. It stops at 1997 for the Cherokee but goes to '01 for the Grand Cherokee.

I'll have to go out there and unplug the '99's and bring it in and manually lable it with some tape.

me personally, i'm not a perfectionist. so i just used the original wiring harness without any splicing. thought about splicing, but couldn't be bothered.

i just used one signal light bulb/harness and fit it into one socket. i might have spliced the bulb socket thing, but can't remember. don't think i did.

as for the small side/corner markers, i believe i just shoved it in there and maybe used tape to hold it there. been like that for years now and i'm not worried.

i swapped the complete header panel and both fenders. painted the fenders to match my tremclad blue body but left the header panel and grille black cause i have the big black warn bullbar bumper and winch anyways.

again, i'm not picky but couldn't be happier.
