Front axle to far back?
99 4.0 4x4
Hey guys I have adjustable control arms, upper and lower. I just moved up to 33s, and maybe it's just me, but it looks like my axle is sitting alittle to far back. I followed the eye to eye measurements for my lift with the ironman arms. Thanks

Part of what you see is the axle moving back due to a lift on short arms. Since both of your links are adjustable you could move it forward.

Yes I know the axle will move back on short arms. I adjusted the control arms to the eye to eye measurement I was provided for a 4 inch lift, still looks alittle far back to me. Just asking opinions on if the axle is actually were it is suppose to be, or should I move it foward.

To me it looks like it should go forward. I know on the two solid axle vehicles I have owned the center of the wheel was straight down from the top of the spring. Then you can adjust the actual alignment (caster) from there.

Thank you guys for the reference . I'm gonna move it a inch or so foward to align the center of the wheel with the spring and see what it looks like

I cant say enough about his products, absolutely bombproof, and well engineered, so I'm sure they will work great. Highly recommended with great customer service if anyone is in the market for control arms.
