Atmos: I've thought about that but as ill be going full case locker, I shouldn't have to big of problem, especially as I know my jeep won't be seeing the same terrain as like yours which given, the 44, and such would be a good ideal axle for that tire size(35"-37")

All Rubicon's came from the factory with a full case locker

But it's not just the rubicon that came with the 44 front though right? I've seen a few 44 that said open diff. So I'm assuming there is another class wrangler that had them.

Atmos: no my price would come up to about 1k if I do the full case locker. Again mine will be from home fab and scrap metal, so basically the big cost will come from the gears, and locker. Everything else would be fairly cheap. But then again, I'm in no hurry so I can wait till I find a good price on used gears and lockers, find someone who'll set the gears for cheap, etc..... Like I said, if I was to go bigger then I would go for a 44 but by the time I'm done with mine, it'll be the same strength as a 44 stock with at least some better upgrades like a locker, gussets and truss, etc... All for about the same price as a stock 44

The Rubicon 44's are the only bolt in 44's.

i totally understand that i'll never get what i put into my d30 out of it when or if i sell it but that goes along with everything we put on our rigs. The second it gets installed on there, it's worthless. But, if i use the pee out of it and have a bunch of fun with the setup then to me, it's worth any price. Defintily appreciate all the input here because it did it's job, made me think about it. Still don't know which rout to take though

Get the MM or warn kit and enjoy! The kit improved my mpg, made my XJ happier on freeways, and is rebuildable. Do it.
