So, the question is why? Having the deck and head resurfaced would guarantee that it would not happen again.
Do a compression test on #1, I will bet you it's down around 90psi or lower.
Cly #1 gets the most frequency of temp fluctuation as the coolant hits #1 bore as it comes into the block.

I never apply anything to a belt, saturated belts will squeal.
Check your HB for failure.
Well now that the jeep is back up and running I will start saving for the funds to get the head resurfaced and go back in there with another headgasket.
Now with this A/C issue, when checking the Harmonic balancer what is it that I should be looking for? Im going to assume there is a bearing that could possibly go bad? Ive never dealt with this before as ive normally just changed the belt and wouldn't have an issue. Today though I had my dad start the jeep and me watch the belts, When first starting the jeep with A/C, it would squeal say 10 sec then stop, but during that time the belt is moving way slower and as soon as the squealing stops the belt picks up speed and stays at that speed. The same also happened with the A/C turned on, except I'd say its worse and looking at the clutch the clutch would be turning slower than the belt. Leading me to the the A/C compressor, but doesnt make sense because the AC worked perfect before
I did the head gasket and i only unmounted the bracket and set it inches aside from its original spot.

Thanks again for the help so far couldn't have done it without you guys.

Set the serpentine belt to proper spec
new belt 180-200 lbs
used belt 140-160 lbs
