Ford 8.8 Shock Brackets
So I have a RE 4.5SF Kit and I had the 8.8 swapped in. The shock mounts are too high and I want to get mounts that are lower so my rear end can drop down and my shocks have more play/softer, etc..
Where are the best brackets to buy out there? I seem to only find them in full kits.
I am looking for the stock height below the axle, I'll end up mounting them slightly more outboard as well.
Thanks again dudes.

I tried to contact HUDFABXJ but the facebook page says that he's tired of working 100 hour weeks and he's no longer taking new work. Anybody else in the denver area known for quality work at a reasonable price?

I recommend removing your existing shocks and flexing rear suspension. Measure between the shock mounts for both extended and collapsed lengths and then order your shocks accordingly.

So, take the shocks out, and let it sit full weight on the springs. Measure the bottom eye to the top eye both sides, back up on a ramp and achieve max desired flex, measure eye to eye.. I'm in my backyard, but I'll give it my best shot. Thanks!

No.
You have to flex the suspension so one side is at max droop and the other is at max stuff.
With it sitting level you'll get the static ride height and that won't tell you anything.
