This is all i can get out of my jeep. Maybe 12 inches...maybe. Sway bars are still connected and im almost out of fender well. thinking im needing to go a little higher. its a dd but i also want do a little crawling what would be a good all around lift for this. i am new to the jeep thing and i heard rustys is the way to go just want a couple more opinions before i bust out the check book. thanks ahead of time for the input. oh and by the way im thinking the lift on the jeep now is a 4.5 rough country that has sagged over the years

If your looking for flex and good quality check out RC long arm upgrade and i personally hate rustys to many joints from then have broke and they dont warranty it like they say alot of people have problems with rustys crap i would stay away from then if you have the money look into clayton BDS TNT rock crawler serious offroad detours off road theyre top notch companies

Yeah i know about the sway bars and trimming i just havent got around to it yet

I DD my truck at 5 inches on RC long arms no problems i also drive no sway bars either and it handles perfectly fine

Kinda expensive but I'm about to put a rubicon express 4.5 long arm kit on mine. I've heard a lot of good things about it. I already have my fenders trimmed.

best advice. from my perspective i only have a 2" on 31s, no sway bars and trim and mine flexes out pretty good. sway bars really hold alot back. what size tires are you runnin?

JKS quick disconnects. If it's a DD you do NOT want to be driving with out the front sway bar on the road. Disconnecting/removing the sway bars will make a huge difference. Unless you're hauling heavy trailers you can remove the rear sway bar completely. The front you'll want to use on the road though. I read people saying their rig drives fine with out them, and to some extent that is true, as long as you're driving easy and don't have to swerve. I've done both as en experiment and you get WAY more body roll without the sway bar. The sway bar is VERY important in maintaining control in an emergency swerve.
