Has anyone put TJ flat style fender flares on an XJ? Found some for cheap on craigslist, but didn't know if they would fit mine without major modifications and cutting. I know that stock TJ flares fit. HELP??

Should be able to be made to fit the same as regular TJ flares. They just might look reeeeally wide. If they are oversized on the TJ they will be super-oversized on your XJ. You have to cut your fenders either way, as stock TJ flares are still much larger than the XJ wheel openings. That's why TJ flares are considered an alternative to CUT-OUT flares.
What brand are the ones you're looking at? After seeing at some photos, I think TJ flat flares actually look better than stock TJ flares on an XJ.

I'm not sure they guy thats selling them doesn't even know lol and thats the exact reason why i was wondering that. And if they seem to wide i guess i could always trim the flares down so they are narrower
