has anyone on here found a way to mount your fishing poles inside or out without them being in the way? i was thinking of making some kind of way to have them on a holder connected to a trailer hitch thing.

i have the cheap gun racks in my back window that holds a couple poles. they are in the way when a person wants to get in on the passenger side rear though.

I would use some velcro inside the cab...just for security reasons.
A few well placed pieces on the "OH SH**ERS" handles???

I just run them over the grab handles straight to the back... so far the only thing I have hooked is my dog

I use one just like this one in the picture. very easy to put in and out of trailer hitch. i did modify it to work more comfortably by cutting down the rod holders to fit better and extended the trailer hitch mount out a little further so i am able to open and close the rear with enough clearance to do it with the rods still in the holder. i also added a nice bucket mount on one side to have a bucket sit in.

I found some stuff that your supposed to use to store them in like a garage all id have to do would be turn em the other way and secure them to my roof or back hatch. i hate having them on the inside, cause i have a decent size saltwater real that when in the back touches the front windshield.
