I'm a bit excited and felt the need to share. For those who don't know, Ford 3/4 ton D44s and D60s have huge twin piston calipers up front that have the stupidest mounting design known to man. The clips they use fall out all the time and then the wheels hold the caliper on, if you're lucky. They also rattle and I had to grind a bit to fit my 15" wheels. I'm picking up some Chevy calipers tomorrow and no more rattle. Here's the brackets I had a buddy cut out for me to mount them. And no we didn't design them it's a pattern he downloaded. 3/8" bracket and 1/4" spacer.

I dam D44 front breaks rattle, and clunk like a *****! Then clunk around any little time a hit any single bump in the road. Sounds like something is loose in the front end. And just plain PITA!!!!!

I just couldn't keep the little I shapped piece and flat sping to stay in. Thus they were a little loose till they fell out then the rubbed on my wheels. Mine never sees any pavement so the chevys will be fine.

Will that bracket allow you to keep everything else ford? I'm picking up a set of chevy knuckles to make hi steer, but sucks I have to mix and match parts. Ide really to keep moat of my ford parts since everything is brand new.
