This ^ OP go read the lcog thread in the faq's section there is a good deal of great info that you need to know in there about proper suspension

Here's what my xj will do with extended bumpstops notice the tire stopped 1" from the fender. And the coil is unseated 4-5" on the other side.

That picture is a perfect example. More uptravel would do you no good in that, and many other situations. It is also trying to push the driver side wheel down to make contact. You will want this especially if you are not locked front and/or rear.

Like they said, bumpstops are a must. The only time tons of up travel is needed is when both tires come down at once.(jumping, driving off a ledge stc) even then bumpstops are going to save your sheet metal and rubber. There are tons of ways to make bumpstops.. You can buy adjustable ones/ pull out a tennis ball etc. to make up for different tire sizes.

Hey Tom, if you were a few inches taller, your other tire would still be on the ground

Can you have your tire turned and not rub?? Also, what extended stops do you recommend?

Yup as everyone said you need extended bumpstops, it doesnt limit flex it limits up travel. and if you do ramp your jeep, you can get air bump stops so the landing isnt so harsh

So you just put in a 2 inch puck to extend your bump stop? I saw those online but didnt know if they would be good or not. What about the rear? I mean i look at see that yes a bump stop will stop it form rubbing when wheel stright but turned it seems like it might still rub, but hey, one thing at a time.
