yes a external fuel pump is do able but do you really want a fuel pump out in the elements where it can get dislogged by somethingon the trail spewing fuel every where

im sure its been done ,you going to have to remove the factory pump any way to let the other draw thru the line so theres no restriction.you might need to find out more about electric pumps most say in race cars are mounted as close to the tank as possible, like there meant for pushing not pulling of fuel

yea you can use the same tank with a few modifications but it would be cool to get a fuel cell and put it in your trunk

I am putting a fuel cel in my rig as we speak. From everything I have read.. it is better to put the fuel pump as close to the fuel supply as possible. It pushes the fuel better then pulls the fuel. When I go back out to the garage.. I will get part number off of the pump I am using.. think it is out of an explorer. MIne is even wired so I can use the factory conection, and fuel sender.

That was a mechanical pump, not the same as we use.

Anything is possible, just have to toss enough money at it.

The external pump will be the biggest expense here. Most likely.

Still, I was just saying.
