Hey guys, I'm getting ready to swap out my ax-15 for an aw4. The tranny currently in it is from a 94 with an external slave because it's a 1993 xj and used to have the internal slave. I am buying a xj with a blown motor for the parts. It's a 2000. Is it pretty much a plug and play with the tcu or is there some splicing required? Basically, I'd just like to know if I use everything from the parts jeep, will I have everything I need to complete the swap? Thanks in advance, jeff
Harness and computer will be different on the 2000. It could be done but its alot of work. Why don't you swap your engine into the 2000 instead? Just use all the electronics and bolt on parts from the 2000.

I'm actually splitting the 2000 for parts with a friend. Also I already have stiffeners and alot of other fab work done to my 93 so i would basically have to start over. Could I get a tcu from the junkyard and use everything else I have in parts to make it work? Thanks jeff
