So I got this check coming in for like about 600 or $500 and want to buy some exterior stuff for the Jeep I don't know what to look for in terms of like quality so hoping that you guys here can give me some advice or steer me in the right direction for what to look for for low-cost but high-quality you know like rock sliders, body armor, even like some brush guards that are like gnarly looking would be awesome as well.

What are you doing with the jeep? Mall Crawler? Rock Crawler? Mud Bogging? Fire Trail Riding? Beach Cruiser?
Current mods? Lift? Tires? Lockers? Bumpers? Winch?
Front bumper is first mod I would recommend as far as body mods. Install a rear hitch from the scrap yard ($50), gives you a rear recovery point. Should be able to get a decent bumper and 8k or 9k winch for $500 or so. I do not have specific recommendations as I built my own bumper and have not purchased a winch yet.
Body armor is a waste of money until you get to a point with the jeep you need it. Worse case, the armor will cover up damage after the fact. I have wheeled mine a good amount and have yet to need armor. I do have rock sliders and those have saved me from crushing the rockers and caving in a door or two. But I think the bumper is more valuable to get you out when you get it stuck.

I would recommend going to affordable Offroad. They’ve got a pretty good quality stuff and they don’t overcharge for powder coating like other places do. All their stuff comes raw steel to keep the price lower.
