Extended Bump Stops
I have a set of 31 inch BFG MT's I am going to be throwing on the Jeep. So I went down and picked up a set of Daystar OEM style trim to fit bumpstops. Can anyone tell me what length I need to trim those at measuring from the bottom of the bumpstop mount/cup? Thanks

I can and will help ya out... it is a little different for everyone. You really need to find something you can progressively flex up on until you get to the point where your tire is about to.rub. maybe .25 to .5 inch away... park it and measure the distance from the spring perch to where the bumpstop mounts. Cut to that length... goood to go with max flex.

^ the only thing I would add is that check your lock to lock clearance as well at full tuck. It's not always you have the wheel straight forward at full flex but he summed it up pretty well.

Hey thanks guys. I thought that was what needed to happen, but I read another post that was saying something about not over flexing your springs and weakening them. And went on to say that I needed to bring my bump stops out further than where my tires would interfere with the wheel wells, but gave no dimension. It didn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but none the less, the whole thing makes sense now. Thanks again.
