Default RE 3.5" rear leaf springs actual height?

Just installed some Rubicon Express 3.5" leaf pack and they sit an inch higher than advertised 3.5" height.

How long does it take for the spring to settle?
Hope someone with RE experience can advise.

Thx yo.

did you tighten the shackles and leafs on the ground or in the air? are you running stock shackles?

also I hear most people say that the RE 3.5" kit sits higher than 3.5" (esp in the front)

Yo.
I torqued it down with my wheels on the ground and i'm using a 1" shackle.

Same shackles i use with my old leaf springs.

Any thoughts?
Wonder how long before they settled.

Thx.

Not uncommon. Add a couple sandbags to the cargo area for a little while.

The advertised lift height is based on a the stock height of a brand new Jeep. So if your Jeep was already sagged out by an inch or more, your RE lift height will be more than advertised.

My RE leafs settled about a half inch over the last year.

Gonna try it. Thx.
Usually, how long does it take before the leafs are settled?

Mine sat at 5 and 5.5 when I first put it on. I have had it on for a little over a year now and it's at about 4.5 and 5. I don't really know how much more it is going to settle if any.

My RE leafs settled about a half inch over the last year.
I did a before and after measurement and i'm getting 4.5" lift.
Gonna try getting a few bags of rocks and hopefully get them settle as i need to get my pinon angle set.
