^ That's actually legal in CA? I'm surprised. In that case, PA has stricter laws on this topic. That wouldn't be legal here in PA.

Yeah whenever I get money, and learn to weld... I plan on a 10.25 and 60 front from a super duty. They've always got them at my local U-Pull-It, and for just north 300 bucks for both of them, I figure you can't really beat it.

that's a 44 right?

I've ran mine this way for about a year, didn't have any issue with it at smog (ca)

No, I'm from Montana. Bought the XJ there. On any vehicle 11 years or older you can get permanent registration, comes out to about 3 1/2 years worth of registration fees.
