Exhaust header choices 99+ intake

Alright, so my header came in yesterday. It looks decent, quality could be better but I don't really have anything to compare it to other than a $700 turbo manifold I purchased for another vehicle a few years back. Here are a couple pics of it out of the box:
I was excited to put it on and see if it would fit with the 99 intake manifold. I put it on to test fit without the gasket, tighted the two nuts on the ends down to hold it in place. Header fits good. Grab the 99 intake, try to put it on, won't fit. Grab my 91 intake, it also does not fit. WTF! Here are two pics with the spot the intake hits outlined in red:
I could grind probably 1/8 inch off of both spots and it would fit. But I should have to modify it to fit a 91 intake.

Hey guys! I just ordered the rugged ridge header myself, 304 polished. Already running the injector upgrade. Ill let you guys know how the install goes as well.
I have an extra 99+ intake.

Rugged Ridge told me I can grind on mine to make it fit and not void the warranty since my 91 intake won't fit. I'll post up pics once I grind on it. Maybe this weekend. Might be busy with work though.

Well I got out in the garage today. Didn't take very much grinding to get the 99 intake to fit. I didn't even bother trying the 91 after neither of them fit upon arrival. I'll post pics up later. I think I just got a fluke header. I don't see any reason why the 99 wouldn't fit if the 91 would.
One other thing I see that may be an issue, is the flange on the header looks a little thicker then the intake. I could be wrong though. I've only got them mounted for test fitting at the moment with no gasket. I'm hoping that with the gasket, it all seals up alright.
