Exhaust, ECU, Air Filter and Keyless Entry
Sup guys.
I'm sure this has been answered already, but if I want to make my car have a throaty muscle car sound, which exhaust should I go with? I want it to be distinctive, BUT I do not want it to be loud. Same volume or softer than a stock exhaust on a muscle car. No looking to spend more than $50 on parts.
I've heard mixed things on ECUs. Are they actually worth getting, or just junk.
Particular one I am looking at (http://www.ebay.com/itm/310452928240...84.m1423.l2649)
Another thing I plan on doing it replacing the stock air filter with one that will allow the engine to breathe better. Opinions? Exact one: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/280999869859...84.m1423.l2648)
Last, I want to get a remote to wirelessly lock and unlock my truck. How do I know if my truck has the receiver built in to do this. I assume it does, but just want to make sure.
Thanks for your time!

As the keyless entry goes, if its like my 93 xj theres a little black plastic bubble lookin thing thats usually located on the headliner or roof console, and if you have that you have the ability and should be able to get a aftermarket remote for it online for cheap. but if your not sure you could always email your jeep dealer with your vin# and ask them for a build sheet that should tell you for sure if your jeep has it or not (the build sheet is free btw). As the exhaust and intake goes, i have a summit racing muffler similar to a flowmaster 40 dumped before the rear axle and it has some good throaty sound to it heres the link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-638222/.. And for an intake i took out the stock air box and bought a spectre air filter from pep boys that works great for under 30 bucks, but when accelerating i hear a faint whistle from the air in the throttle body that can get annoying on long trips.

dont bother with doing anything to the ECU. theres a guy who reprograms them, and i keep forgetting to email him. i think i'll do that tonight.
if you want throaty, FM40 or magnaflow. I like my FM50, just loud enough imo.
the stock filter does fine. replace it with a new paper one for 7 bucks.
the factory keyless SUCKS. i had my local best buy rip it out and install a viper keyless entry/remote start for $199 installed. i can start or lock/unlock from across the parking lot or from inside my building at work when the jeep is parked out front. worth it.
