Crow Horse

I've been on a crusade to securely mount some basic electronics (cell phone, GPS) and have begun to use RAM mounts. A little pricey but they are top notch and very solid and have a multitude of mounting options. Here's a pic of my GPS mount that I installed using the Rugged Ridge Vent switch unit as a mounting point. I though it would be a plug and play deal, but the RR vent switch was a tad too narrow to be a secure enough mounting point. I secured it with machine screws at 4 points so it wouldn't pull out under the weight of the GPS.

I'm waiting for my RAM phone mount to arrive but I haven't come up with any mounting ideas for my radio remote. I tried velcro and that works till it gets hot out and the adhesive turns into a gooey mess. I'm tired of it getting lost & misplaced while it's "free range". Any ideas and/or pics?
