Default Electric cutout?

How do you think an electric cutout would sound if I put it after that cat?

I know the inline 6 4.0L need the backthrust from the cat and its illegal to remove them, so would it sound good if i put one in after the cat, before the muffler?

If anyone has a video please share it, I've found some that show it before the cat, but not between the cat and muffler.

I used to only have my cat on my 98 with nothing after it and it sounded pretty mean, it wasnt nearly as loud as it was when i cut the exhaust off after the cat, but it was pretty loud. It kinda droned though and got annoying so i fixed it. But ive also been thinking of doin this so if ya do it post a video up

You may want to check your local laws as well. Cutouts are illegal in NC, although its up to the inspector/cop thats pulling you over to enforce it.

I should be doing this, but I don't know when because I am waiting for a court date to come first. After that I'll put it in and post a thread/video, but it could take a while.

Not worth it IMO on a inline 6. I had my cat gutted and in the end replaced it with a high flow converter and cat back and am much happier.
