I have basically the same ones. The looks of them may be sweet but it doesn't justify the light output they give off. They are definitely an upgrade from stock when combined with an upgraded harness, but different headlight housings will give MUCH better light output. I plan on switching them out in the very near future. Go with the Autopal housings that many people use. That's what I will be switching to at least.

 

Well thanks a bunch. Was going to take a break from my spending spree. Ordered the above housings and an lmc harness part 36-3580.

Since its on topic- I know it's all over the forum- any suggestions on bulbs?

 

Put in the harness and housings with the bulbs they come with to see if you really need to upgrade bulbs. My guess is you'll be extremely happy with those results and won't need to.

But if you do, just search for a quality 100 watt bulb. PIAA is a good brand when it comes to bulbs

 

I have h4 housings in, their cutoff sucks and one is missing its rear cap. Light is all blotchy and random.
New housings are cheap, so, why not?
I just plan on buying some spare bulbs for when mine inevitably burn out. Thanks for the heads up
