Ebay headlights?
I'm looking at these headlights right now http://www.ebay.com/itm/87-01-JEEP-W...976301&vxp=mtr
Just wondering if they would be plug and play or not. I know they're not the best quality and I'm not concerned if they break, I just want to see how they look if they are only $25.

As for putting hid bulbs in them. Unless you want to be the jerk that blinds the crap out of everyone else on the road. don't do it. HID bulbs belong in projectors and specifically designed housings, not stuffed into housings designed for halogen bulbs.

Stay away fron this type. They're horrible. All they will do is spray light all over. Get a set of autopal e-codes and you'll be much happier. They cost a little more with shipping but are sooo worth it.

Just what I have been looking for !
The harness spoke of above is this the one that has a relay for each light and basically you get 12-13 volts to the light.

I'm running the style in the OP (minus the halo part) with standard 65/55w bulbs. They light up the road better with the clear lens than with the diffused sealed beam lens. They do cast more light to the sides than sealed beams but if you'll notice, 99% of todays cars with composite headlights (non HID and non projector) do exactly the same thing.

I think the main purpose of the harness is to keep from frying your headlight switch. Most of those aftermarket housings that come with bulbs, come with 100/80w bulbs. If you use standard 65/55w bulbs (which is the same as your sealed beams), you can safely run without the harness.

I like the glass housings and will be purchasing a set soon.

do those headlights on the ebay link have a decent cut-off? I got some H4 housings from a local guy and they throw light everywhere. I big upgrade over stock, but sloppy. If that "euro" set-up is legit, I'd spend the cash to swap them. Ordering a new headlight harness from LMC and don't just want more sloppy white everywhere.

I installed these yesterday. They light up much more of the road ahead while still showing 2 distinct, well focused beams, are made of glass and only cost about $25 for the pair.

I think these look sweet. May need to order them.
I have smoked signals and markers.. Wonder if these "cut off" appropriately

I have the $26 projector style ones in my RX-7 FC and I LOVE them. 800 times brighter and includes bulbs. honestly, the housings feel stout and if the bulbs are junk then they can be replaced with better H4's. Either way, these buckets with bulbs are a hell of a lot cheaper than say the Hella buckets...
