Tapatalk shows the face, you seem to read it right so I'm good lol not **** talking nor screwed up since its meaning was clear. Talking about the hood spacers and death is dumb, just don't be spreading lies about hood flying and cutting off heads, if you want you can warn them as to your fear but don't tell people it's going to happen, understand physics before doing that. The only real way it can happen is if you hit a wall at 130mph+(in which you might deserve it) and the bolts were grade 5 or less. Or going reverse at 160mph+ and slammed into a wall and the hood was held by carpenter nails lol

I've actually seen hoods come up and break the windshield without spacers in a front end collision. The grade 5 bolts don't mean ****, the hinges will break long before the bolts give way.

By the sound of it, that was a high speed collision, again refers to they might have deserved it if it did.

Yes, but we aren't talking breaking the window, we are talking decapitation. Have you ever seen a hood stay flat and fly horizontally through the windshield? Doubt it. Crumple zones don't allow hoods to keep their shape. Prior to crumple zones it was probably more likely, but I highly doubt it on a modern hood. Show a documented case and I will give your argument some credence.

OP, I snagged some marine louvered vents for my last Jeep that dropped my temps about 8 degrees in traffic.

I installed the Lebaron vents... Nothing different at speed, but does keep temps down while idling or crawling along.

If you were going 130 in a Jeep... especially a lifted one... I think you would have an issue LONG before you made it close to the wall.
