DUAL CASES!?
Ok ive read a couple threads but looking for more info. got a 93 auto 4.0 with np231 hack and tap 6 inches of lift with 35s. i have another np 231 same exact case from same year jeep. i want to get a low crawl speed and regearing my axles wont give me that plus lower the gears the weaker they get right? with this doubler can i do everything besides the sticks and linkage or do i need more?? trying to understand this a little better. thanks

I'd also like to do this, I have a spare 231. I think froehlich was talking about making a whole doubler kit with sticks & pretty much everything else needed, that be nice.

DUAL CASES!?
1. Read on pirate, its been covered.
2. Don't do business with FST, I guarantee you won't get that product, much less with his more popular ones.
3. Numerically higher gears are not more weak, well not worth worrying about.

If it was me get a dana 300,And do a flip kit and twin stick it.If you want a lower ratio you can get a 4 to 1 lomax gear set for it.With the twin stick you can shift each axle high low and neutral.

there's only one name in the doubler world today, that's Staang's Fab.
eric makes and stocks the kits and ships them out same day. try that with D&D or anyone else for that matter.
was there the other day, he has plenty kits ready to ship.
probably the best kit on the market too.
these are for the 231 to 300 doublers.

If you have the AW4 transmission, a stock 231 transfer case, and 4.56 gears your crawl ratio would be 35 - 1. Depending on what you use your Cherokee for it may work. If you were doubled your crawl ratio would be 95 - 1 and you could wheel anything your suspension and tire combo could handle.
