Default Drum Brake Backing Plate Hole Patterns Corporate 8.75 to 8.25 rear end.

I'm seeking parts for a conversion to 10" brakes on my 94 XJ in an effort to improve the incredibly poor parking brake function. It won't even hold a 15' aluminum boat on the ramp. Service brakes are satisfactory but of course could be improved on too. A disc brake conversion will not likely improve the park brake function which is my main goal. Please don't suggest adjusting the brakes and all that. We've been down that road endlessly.

I have found some complete Chrysler 8.75 10x2.5 inch brake sets that may or may not bolt up to my 8.25 axle. I need some advice on the compatibility of the flange hole patterns.

If the brakes won't hold that small of a boat on the ramp , l'm going to suggest you readjust the brakes. If you are double damn sure they are correct I'd then turn my attention to the parking brake adjuster. Its located under the Jeep. It should be a 13mm.

Not to be a troll, but like David said, be double damn sure you have everything adjusted properly. This is from someone who has sworn on a stack of bibles that everything was properly set up, and been proven wrong.

Theoretically speaking, I think that the brakes would bolt up. But I have a little less experience with Chrysler rear axles. However, if you wanted to switch to the Ford 8.8 axle, you would get 10 x 2.5 drum brakes, (You could even get finned brake drums if you modify the Aerostar brake drums). Also, if you search for the correct one, it may even have 31 spline axles with a Torsen LSD (similar to Detroit Truetrac). Granted, its a bit of work to do, but the axle will be quite beefy, and you'll get the brakes you want.
