Default Is this a drop pitman arm?

I am trying to figure out if the PO put a drop pitman arm in my xj or if this is the stock pitman arm. What do you think? If so how many inches do you think it is dropped?

Also does the track bar mounting bracket in the background look like a stock or after market bracket?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info. And the sway bar haha- I was testing out the flex by lifting up the side with a hi-jack when I took this picture. I disconnected the sway bar while doing that, but didn't tie them up.

Get in touch with me when you're ready to upgrade your steering.

Will do. I'll probably just go with a drop pitman arm for now, but as soon as I get my rear axle sorted out (differential needs to be adjusted), steering and long arms are the next big ticket items.

No, not really. A few close friends locally tried the ORO system with mixed reviews. Some of the guy's like it, some hated it.

The chief complaint was constanlty having to tighten the jam nuts and mounting hardware. Caveat emptor

I suggest measuring the height of your current arm and determining how much drop is need. Maintaining the proper steering geometry is going to prevent bumpsteer issues that may occur if the wrong arm is used.
