Default driveshaft question

Just did a 4.5 inch rc lift and 33's getting ready to buy a slip yolk eliminator kit. i was wondering if anybody knew of a junkyard driveshaft i could get that would save me the money of having to buy a custom driveshaft. any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

you could use a stock front drive shaft from an auto 4.0L xj.

but you still want to measure the distance with all the weight on the wheels, then get a drive shaft that measures the same at half compression.

this may give you an idea.

I ran a front driveshaft out of an auto xj with an sye at 5.25" of lift with no problems. When I went with 6.5" rustys leafs which moved my axle back a few inches, I just had a welding shop lengthen the driveshaft. I have an aw4 if you have have an ax15 you might it won't be the same. As stated get out the tape measure remembering that the sye kit shortens the output housing in effect

just rock a front shaft, not point in spending excess money if you dont have to, i dont think ive talked to anyone who has had negative outcome with the front shaft in back.
