Driver's seat broke; What's a good aftermarket upgrade
so this morning i was thinking to myself, hrmm suppose i could upradge the driver's seat. SNAP the front left bracet breaks. I know i can always fix the bracket but the seat itself is pretty shot and wouldn't might looking forward to something new and improved.
I'm looking at the Rugged Ridge XHD Reclining Front Seat; However i've seen Smittybilt with some interesting stuff! but wanted to farm it out to the community and see what i got.
Lemme know y'all and as always Thanks for all your thoughts, encouragement and Ideas. You guys are amazing

5 gallon bucket bolted to the ground with a bungie cord for a seat belt. You can screw a piece of plywood to the back of the bucket if you want a back rest but who needs that?!
Do you wheel your vehicle? I don't know if it would be a good idea to spend money on new seats if they're just going to get dirty right away. If it's just a mall crawler then new ones would be good. Have you considered junkyard ones?

I tried some suspension seats a while back, while they were comfy, I was not entirely convinced they were worth the money. I think some factory style replacements or some from a GC would be worth considering.

Just unbolt the brackets from your factory seats and bolt them to the GC seats. All holes line up so no modifications required.

The OEM seats in my XJ were leather and torn to shreds with a Wally World eat cover holding everything together. A little luck on Craigslist scored me 2 Cherokee country seats for 25 bucks and they are incredibly comfy.
