Default Driver side front suspension not compressing

So my ride has been really rough and bouncy lately, just after installing a 2 inch RC lift. I noticed today that i cannot make the driver side front suspension compress. Standing on the front bumper and jumping wont even get it to do more than budge. What is up with that? When i installed the kit all i did was disconnect the sway bar, pull out the springs and then put the spacers and springs back in and reattached the sway bar. The passenger side allows compression with my weight on it but the driver side is unmoving. I cant tell what could be limiting the compression.

Take the sway bar off and see what happens.

I'm going to try disconnecting it again tonight to see if that is the cause. I know the sway bar is meant to inhibit suspension movement in a certain way, but how could it keep it from moving at all?

Put a jack on the drivers side and see if it compresses.

Might of damaged the shock from over extending it

Are they the nitrogen charged ones? Those are always a ***** to compress by hand.

Its definitely shot, i got it to compress by hand but it wont rebound. Really strange. Looks like i'm going to be driving around on 3 shocks for a while, this should be fun.

if its just plain gas shock it wont rebound like nitrogen shock does. its more of a dampner than anything else

I didnt mean rebound, i meant uncompress.
I know how they work, i was able to compress and uncompress them fairly easily by hand before i installed them though. But with that shock on the suspension would barely move and wouldnt rebound. I disconnected the shock and compressed it and now i have full suspension movement back. But i cant pull the shaft back out of the body so i'm stuck with no shock in that corner.
