Default drive shaft length after sye and 8.8 install

I had read that an approximate drive shaft I would need for my 8.8 install would be the same as what is on the front of my xj 96 231 4.0 aw4 5.5" lift on 35's. So I located one and installed it with the rear wheels off the ground it was not long enough to bolt up till I let it down some. now when going through a dip at high speed I get this rumble when the rear compresses and is more apparent when I have other bodies in the car. I looked and the drive shaft and it appears to only have about two inches of collapsing distance left. I am sure it is bottoming out and the double cardan joint is vibrating while rotating under load. If I am not on the gas through the dip it does not make the noise. I thought it could be the tires rubbing on the flares but I have looked hard and see no evidence.

I remember seeing a list on here of front drive shafts from xj's and zj's and their lengths anyone have a link or a suggestion?

Measure from center to center (u-joints), that's what you need.
