Drive Shaft length for Adams Slip Yoke Eliminator
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ, 4.0 I6, 4x4, 8.25 rear axle. And I am just curious on what length of a drive shaft I have in order for me to purchase the slip yoke eliminator thanks!

You will need to cut the output shaft AND the new yoke anyways. If you follow the instructions, it says to measure the driveshaft you have and measure/cut depending on the length of the DS. I have always used XJ 4.0L, Automatic trans, 231 case front driveshafts for my SYEs as they are plentiful. Avoid using a manual 2.5L front shaft as they are way different in length. You gotta measure what you have then cut accordingly.
Wait: Unless you are ordering the whole new shaft assembly/tailcase. I generally do a hack-n-tap..

I used this one https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/prod...nator-kit.html
They also have a good wright up on it they tell you what you will need . and for the drive shaft I now have the same drive shaft front and rear , so if I carry a spare I only need one .
