Default drilling and reaming steering

how hard is it to drill and ream for the 1 ton tie rod ends? do you have to take anything apart or can it all be done with the axle on the jeep? also where do you get a reamer thats the same taper as the 1 ton tre's? and do you need a special drill bit and is it hard to keep is straight? or is it easyer to just get the drop in taper things. thanks.

SNap on seals the reamer.. Just pull the tire and make sure you have enough room. Just make sure you dont over ream the knuckle. Also go slow and use cutting fluid.

or go fer it off road sell tapered inserts, you drill the knuckle and pitman arm to 3/4 I believe and slide the inserts in tack them in place and done. I just did mine but not 1 ton's I did a knuckle over steering this way

I drilled mine to 7/8" with the wheels off. Even drilled the pitman arm with it on and drilled up.

can you explain how far on the bit you went up. I just ordered a 7/8 reaming bit. The parts I bought say ream with a 7 is that the same thing?
