Default drag link and tie rod knuckle hitting sway bar link...

ok so im in the middle of istalling iro's 5.5" long arm kit. i have most everything in place. i have it up on the lifts with the axle drooping down as low as the new shocks will let(so my max travel). if i had the drag link hooked up to the pasenger side wheel joint, it would not be able to droop that much because the steering won't flex that much. and, the knuckle where the drag link and tie rod come together is hitting the lower sway bar mount... what am doing wrong????

If your still running the stock steering linkage you probly need a drop pitman arm to get the steering linkage to drop down to clear the sway bar bracket or just cut it off and relocate both sides. Make sure if u use a drop pitman to match the track bar drop the same.

you should not be running stock steering at that height. especially if its wheeled. a drop pitman arm will bandaid the issue however.

Agreed ktmracer. But people do the drop pitman all the time(not sayin its good). But upgradin to a crossover style would be a beter option. At least upgrade the chinsey adjusting sleeve and tie rods to the grand cherokee tie rod assembly at minimum.

How did you macgyver this? Looks like a plate drilled out bolted to original mount and then bolted to other side with pin for link?

There is a few companies that make weld on swaybar mounts that raise it up so the steering linkage won't hit.
