Default Drag link issue

I have a 2000 XJ with a 4.5" running 33s. I dont offroad but the roads in RI are so bad it's like offroading. I installed a MOOG drag link about 8 mos ago, it's already wasted. Is this a common issue?

Drag link IS the right outer Tie rod end. It's the lift and tires causing the issue, time to start upgrading. Start with the shocks and Look at a Over the knuckle steering modification. Does your lift include a Adj Track bar and Lower Control arms?

It's the tie rod end that's wasted. I had installed a Rustys 4.5 kit with the upgraded trac bar, upper & lower adj control arms.

Do a flip kit, Rustys has one, when you replace the Drag Link. Will improve the steering angles. Could also do a 1" drop pitman arm, but the flip or OTK upgrade gets the steering arms up out of the danger zone better. Drop arm leaves the steering closer to the ground.
