So i have started putting my new deck (kenwood excelon ddx7015) in the cherokee. Double dins are not so fun to put in but i know it will be worth it i already have two hours of cuttiing all the plastic out the back with an air saw. Just wondering if anyone has done a double din in an older year cherokee?

 

I have a 92 and have considered the same project. Post pictures of your progress!! I initially considered moving the hvac controls or even the center air vent to accomplish this, But since I don't have the radio yet, it would do me no good moving the stuff.

 

yes the controlls are getting moved down but that actually is a fake air vent it is just there i took it out and there is just walls on every side of it with lots of dust inside so i think i am going to cut the top wall out and use it to throw all the extra wires from the deck in.
