Doorless
And that's the only time anything has been said to me about it, and I drove around all last summer, and quite a bit when it wasn't too cold through fall and winter with no doors, and now have them off again, until we get a rainy day.

x2. It's mostly mirrors, the lip on the lower part of the door makes it legal in most states. You have to have something to contain your feet in a crash.

Doors are not required equipment, but mirrors and seatbelts are
Most the rule applies like this. Two rear facing mirrors and one on drivers side.
There isn't anything special about wranglers and the law.

My jeep was doorless year round when i lived in florida. Now tham im here in England and I cant do it as often, becuase of all the rain. I did the typical door hinge mod so they can be pulled off easily. After 2 years of it being like this I havent noticed any chassis bending/flex issues, door fitmnet problems or anything really. Just be sure to realign them after the mod since the bushing in the hinge WILL come out. Then find a way to redo all of you wiring, like a QD or something.
I have manual windows and locks, so it was easy. All I did was grab a rear soundbar from an XJ in in JY and mount it above the front seat headrests to move the door speakers. So, no doors, no wires, still have tunes, and all the visibilty I can ask for

i know here in illinois (at least i'm pretty sure) you only need side mirrors if your rear window is tinted so if it's clear you're good to go without side mirrors
Same here in New York for tint. if your back window is tinted you need drivers side & passenger side, side mirrors. Rear view windsheild mirror isn't req'd. But for doorless (going back to my wrangler days), i think all I needed was the drivers side, side mirror & a rear view windsheild mirror.... Not 100% sure though

Well then your life is gunna be way easier than most people lol I purposely bought my XJ with manual windows and locks. Mostly becuase of the reliabilty, and less things to worry about, but having lighter weight doors and no electronics to deal with to go doorless is nice too
