Does a 4.5" lift mean a new drive shaft? Does the SYE help?

Seems 4.5 is the threshold.. More and you need one, less and you don't.. Trying to decide between RC and Rusty's. Rusty's is custom, high quality and they seem to really know their tech, but RC offers a more complete system ie; upper AND lower control arms, flex joints on both, sway bar disconnects, shocks, tc drop kit, etc etc, for a comparable price.. Rusty's seems to come with less. Or just different stuff.. Any thoughts?

I have a xj with a RE 5.5 lift. This is the way I went front driveline from junkyard($30) RE HnT ($100) an the thunder flange i think its called being that its from a old thunder bird idk here the part#211543x ($50) connects driveling to HnT an 2 new u joints. It was quick, cheap, easy and i didnt have to take my TC apart. Strength wise I would say its pretty strong for mild wheeling I snapped axles in a D44 and the driveline and flange are still holding. Not telling you to do it this way just saying its the way I did it and it works. Hope this helps. Good luck
