The front is a D44 out of a half ton truck that has had 8 lug outters from a 3/4 ton truck put on it. 3/4 tons used leaf springs. That's not a bad thing if you plan on using the ford radius arms and if not they are welded wedges. If they are cast wedges you have to use the arms or retube them. The rear is a FF D60, same axles I'm currently running. I paid $200 bucks for mine with 4.56 gears and a Detroit truetrac in the front, which I sold for $150 because they suck. So to answer your question, NO they are worth maybe half that IF the front has welded wedges. If they are cast I'd pass.

Seems like a lot. Around here in Florida stuff tends to sell for a little more. I would pay around $450-500 bucks for something like that.

Why do you want bigger axles,Are you building a rock crawler or want to run a 37 or bigger tires?

I'm in the midst or sourcing parts to build a capable off road rig that will run 37's. Plus aftermarket support for dana 60s is immense.

You only want a D60 front, the rears suck. Guess how I know. I upgraded mine to 35 spline shafts which isn't easy or cheap. D60 rear 30 spline shafts are EXACTLY the same size as a D44. Don't waste your time with a D44 front with 37s, skip directly to a ton axle.

^^^Best and most common setup for tons. AND you can shave the bottom of the diff housing on the 14b for more ground clearance.
