Haha hell ya hes got some deals. Glad i found someone running it. Id like to go bigger but im pretty budgeted right now and my front coils are toast. Plus i have brand new shocks that id like to use. I dont wheel yet either and when i do its only going to be light wheeling and shes my DD so i cant be too hard on her. I figure if i do 2" now i can possibly do 2-3" more later and make 4 -5" when i have a better job and my other prioritys are taken care of first.

If the springs you get from the v8 zj are old and worn out, you won't get as much. The moog springs to replace the upcountry lift for a v8 zj are #CC782. Get 'em new for 2" in the front. Or you can use F150 springs from the late 70s. I put some in my XJ and got 2" from them. They're stiff. I've got a heavy duty bumper to put on, and that should soften them up some. If it doesn't, I'll put the new moog coils in. Here's what I did with mine. Make some quick discos for the front and it softens up the f150 springs.

alright ive done some serious searching and the #cc782 are direct replacement springs for the cherokees and zjs according to rockauto.com. thus likely will give no lift.
what a pain lol
what a pain lol
So maybe a 2" BB (spacer and shackle) then add longer springs and an aal to match for like 3-4". Only thing is 3" is about max for not having to worry about driveline and steering adjustments. Maybe a 3" BB for now? And then save save save for. 4.5" LA setup
All I know is if you drop the cash, do it as little as often and really do research about what works and what doesn't for minimal driveline and steering changes... Idk, if you jus save for a full leaf pack 3-3.5" kit, axle shims, and MAYBE a track bar relocation bracket (IMHO better than $$$ adj bar), good tires, too, oh and 500 bucks for an auto locker and your golden!
I put these on my Jeep to match the HD rear leafs I installed.

Unfortunately I didn't take an accurate before measurement. I would say they added .5 to 1 inch of lift. Not much but it did work for what I was doing you would definitely need spacers for any major lift.

You'll want to look for these springs: 52088363 Code GN. The regular v8 springs give 1" of lift (the v8 is heavier than the I6) and the upcountry lift gave the v8 models a 1" lift, so that's your second inch. If you want to to 3-4" altogether, all you'd need after these springs would be a set of 1-2" poly pucks.
I went to moparpartz.com and searched for the part # (52088363 GN) and selected "Jeep" as the make. You can get them there. I'm sure if you called/emailed mopar you'd be able to get the info on spring rates/weight rating. Someone in another forum said the moog cc784 springs were the replacements for the upcountry v8 springs. They're a bit beefier than the cc782's. I'd just hate for you to have to pay mopar prices if they're astronomical.
Just for fun (and because I may end up using them to replace my F150 springs...) I've sent Moog an email asking which ones replace the mopar springs. When/if they answer, I'll update here.

Okay, so I asked them:
I'm interested in purchasing replacement springs for a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/a v8 and an Upcountry lift. The Mopar springs are #52088363 GN. Which springs of yours will replace those? I've looked all over, and I've seen cc780, cc781, cc782, and cc784 as replacements for the v8 Grand Cherokee, but none of the sites I've visited state which one goes with the Upcountry lift and the front springs that I've mentioned above. Thanks for your help!
And they answered:
The replacement spring for this application is a CC782. The CC780 is for the two wheel drive and the cc784 does not apply to the Grand Cherokee and the cc781 is not a valid part number for Moog.

Apparently I gave them some of the wrong #'s, but the cc782, as stated before, is the one you want. Do a shopping.google.com search and I'm sure you'll find them for $65-$70 shipped for the pair.

I know this thread is old but I've started a new one similar to this recently and still have no answers. I read a few bad reviews about the cc782's. They are variable rate and some experienced the shorter section wich is the softer rate compressing completely and grinding together. That's just from the weight of the vehicle not even over bumps. OME has 1" lift springs but they are 3 times the price of any moog or delco replacement.
