I bought a used set of V8 grand Cherokee coils....they provided no lift at all so I took them back.

They have to be off of a limited zj, they had the upcountry package so they sat a bit higher.

I got some used V8 ZJ coils at the junkyard. Along with 1.75" spacers I got exactly 3".

So used coils, from A v8 ZJ were only 1.25" of actual lift. I do however like that the spring rate is just a little stiffer.

It's not too stiff though.

That will come in handy when I add the hitch mounted winch.

I used zj v8 springs with 2" spacers that I think are actually 1 3/4" and using my stock isolators, got a little over 3".

If you do end up getting new springs, why not get ones with 2" lift instead of getting spacers and HD's?

Rustys has the 2" lift coils for $99 which is a good deal but the oem HD ones are .7" taller and likely a little stiffer then the rustys ones. Im floating both ideas still so everyones input is appreciated.

All about spring rate.. Find out what stock is and then you will know how stiff to go. Also, the rear will prob settle more than front, so don't get nose up to high! Good luck!

Good point about the rear ill look into the rates today. The rustys way is like $30 more then the HD n spacers way too so thats another factor

Hells yes fatbobsgarage! Got my 2" BB from them like 2 years ago- its still totally solid!
Worst case scenario maybe a 1/2-1" lifter block on rear axle to help level it out? I'm thoroughly against axle blocks, but there is one out there that seems like its ok to use.. I'd have to look for it, but it's there, somewhere...

Also! What's yur reason for lifting around 2"? Why not go for a full 3-3.5" kit for like 300-500?
