Default do i need an aligment? update...... still off

my front axle sticks out 1 inch more on drivers side.. i had my friend drive my XJ and sure enuff my jeep is crabbing lol damn Mr Crabs

i do have 3 inch lift and also have a RE track bar...

it drives fine ( other than crabbing )

do i need an shop alignment or can i do it at home myself? can some1 educate me how to adjust the track bar? it looks like it just tied down to the end with no treads showing

thanks guys!

Is the trac bar able to adjust at all?

If so you should probably be able to take the trac bar in half an inch to have it centered.

Unless its just too long for your lift and thats whats wrong...

I think he needs his axle centered, not a full steering alignment.

Although the steering wheel will be off center.

So is the wheel alignment off (wheels pointed in different directions) or does one tire sit further out on one side than the other?

Ok, your trac bar is too long. You need one that adjusts shorter.

Look into the IRO double shear. Really nice product.

Track bar just un hook it then center cab over tires find a place to measure equal on both side unlock steering and turn wheel cab will move back and fort over axle .Get it centered then adjust trak bar to fit

Shouldnt have if you just changed the position of the wheel if you did it at the adjuster sleeve by the pitman arm.

That wont work if the trac bar is adjusted all the way.
