Default Diy battery cables help

I will be changing my battery cables and was wondering what size i should go with? I figured I use welding cable 2awg all around. Then get some brass terminals n brass ends. I heard kellyswip guy named 5-90 makes some but his website does not work. I was wondering if anyone knows the correct specs. I have found some info here

http://www.angelfire.com/my/fan/Power_Cables.html

I was going to follow this guide but use 2 gauge all around. What you guys think?

For about $40 at Oreilly auto parts you can redo your jeep. I did not use pieces the exact same length as what came out because I did not run my wires the exact same way. I used 4gage which is plenty unless you have a big stereo and winch etc.

i pretty much followed the length's 5-90 has listed when i made my own cables. I went with 4awg, but i don't plan on adding a ton of electrical accessories.

I bought and paid for a set from 5-90 about 6 months ago.....and never got them (which is being fixed now!). I will see if the lengths are listed in my order sheet and post them if they are.

I made my own a couple of years ago from 2 awg welding cables. It's pretty easy. Sorry I don't have any measurements because I never bothered writing it down. However I'm planning to redo the cables on my other jeep in couple of weeks. I could write down the measurements for YA if u didn't do it yet

I bought a set about 3 mo. ago paid for them and had them in hand in less than a week including the weekend. He even sent me several follow-up emails about them if I had any questions.

I'm very surprised to hear this as he was an excellent vender to do business with and on follow ups. That along with high quality wires ready to go when they were unboxed. He posts here and on NAXJA all the time have you contacted him about the order?

i cannot for the life of me remember what lengths i used. they were maybe a little bit longer than the stock cable lengths for all my positive lines. grounding straps were also on the longer side. i opted to not replace/add on to the lead from the alternator. if i get something bigger i will look into it.

take a piece of string, run from point A to point B, measure string, repeat

However if you are lazy, the lengths are listed here: http://www.kelleyswip.com/price.html

Scroll down to almost the bottom. The 4th section from the bottom has lengths and everything. I'm thinking of just buying from him and being done with it.
