Not too long ago I installed a BDS 2" lift complete with coil springs, shocks and add-a-leaf as well as a Rustys adjustable track bar and fixed, tubular lower control arms. I want to go up to a 3" lift so my question is can I simply buy a 3" leaf pack and a 1" spacer and call it a day or will I need to make upgrades like new shocks or install additional parts like a SYE? Thanks in advance for your advice, input and suggestions.
You'll probably be fine, my last jeep was 3" spacer + AAL, I forget what shocks. Shocks are often made for no lift, 2"-4", 4"-6", and so on. Adding a single inch of lift is not likely to ruin your shocks.

Measure your existing shocks extended length. Stock is right about 20" extended. This can give you an idea if your shocks will work with more lift. From some research around if you buy a kit for example 3" the shocks with it will be 3" longer extended. This isnt the best way to pick or know but its a good start.
